Argus Argus

Argus Argus, an engineer of extraordinary talent, served the Council of the 10 Legions for most of his working life. Through his years of service, his toil in the realm of engineering delivered the BISH! much of their mechanical mastery, a mastery most in the Lands of 5th deemed essential; if not for the protection of the 5th Dimensional Portal, then to withstand the Flea Uprising most thought imminent.

It was midway through his service that Argus came upon an idea that was to forever change the methods of the 6th Legion. By chance, Argus found that by containing a small amount of the Plasmas of Five, he could not only power, but also propel and keep upright a bipedal transport machine; a machine he called a ‘Mechanoid’. Until the very end of his service, Argus thought the Mechanoid as his crowning achievement, a view not commonly shared amongst the Council.

In the annals of time, Argus’ design was unkindly called ‘Chicken Runner’, uncharacteristically rejected by all but the Legion of the 6th. But to those BISH! of the 6th who piloted these two legged monsters, they were affectionately called ‘Changers’; their large scale implementation forever changing the balance of power in the 6th Legion’s realm of observation.

Argus vanished after his service. It was said the rejection of the Mechanoids by all but the 6th had proved too much to bare. Rumour had it he entered The Nif, offering his knowledge to the Merlins. Others said he had sailed across the Sea of Orange, towards the Seething and the Flea Uprising. Whatever the case, the Council of the 10 Legions were worried – where ever he had gone, Argus’ genius put to the use of wrong would be a disastrous turn of events.
