Commissions

I am always happy to discuss private commissions.

Privately commissioned illustrations can not be used for commercial purposes and are only delivered as a physical print.

Commissions are priced based on the type of image, and you have the choice of having the finished piece delivered as a quality giclée print, or as a stretched canvas; both 16x20" | 40.5x50.8cm in size (prices vary).

Once delivered, I destroy the working and print files, keeping only a low resolution file for my own reference.

'The Contact Patch' Commissions

If you have a specific vehicle in mind, a vehicle of your own you would like illustrated, are looking for a larger size, a stretched canvas of an open edition, or a piece for a specific application, I am always open to commissions and special orders.

Commissioned pieces can be illustrated digitally, painted in gouache, or hand inked (depending on the style and at my discretion), on either heavy weight water colour paper, or cold press illustration board. Prices start at AU$250 for a 16x20" size. Large scale or multi panel works can also be produced, and can be supplied mounted or ready for framing.

Open editions

'Open Edition' prints are produced using pigment based archival inks on acid free, archival grade, heavy weight paper. This ensures not only a high quality, rich print, but also one that is stable, resistant to fading, and paper degradation over time. It is advised to frame any pigment ink based print behind glass to ensure UV protection and it is never advisable to hang the print in a location prone to long periods of direct sun.

The standard finished size for all open edition prints is 20x16", or 50.8x40.5cm (finished print size illustrated above). Larger sized prints can be ordered by request.

All the prints are delivered unframed, rolled in a heavy duty shipping tube. It is suggested to remove the print from the tube as soon as possible, letting the print 'rest' prior to mounting or framing.
